Who are the Alumni?
The Flanagan-Cornell FFA Alumni is a group of adults that works to support and advocate for agricultural education and FFA through gifts of time, talent, and financial resources. Whether a former FFA member, parent, or agriculture education supporter, all members of the Alumni work to support and promote Agriculture and the Flanagan-Cornell FFA Chapter.
What does the Alumni do?
- Hosts the Flanagan-Cornell FFA Alumni Auction
- Funds students to attend various FFA Conferences & Conventions
- Provides judges for various events like Proficiency Awards & Parliamentary Procedure Contests
- Funds special projects like our new GREENHOUSE!!!
- Provides scholarships to graduating senior FFA members as well as college students who are pursuing an agriculture degree
- Hosts special events like the College Ag Night
How often does the Alumni meet?
The Flanagan-Cornell FFA Alumni meets about every 2-3 months except during Auction time. We typically have a meeting one meeting in December and January, and then two meetings in February concerning the Auction. As well as a meeting the Thursday before the Auction. Other times of the year that meetings occur normally include March/April, July, & August/September.
